I just finished my Easy ABC Interactive Notebook and I’m really excited to share it with you. This notebook is perfect for preschool and kindergarten age students but could also be done with toddlers if you help them. I made sure to keep the pattern limit as low as I could for each craft to really make this as easy as can be. Hope you guys enjoy this one, it will make truly make an AMAZING end of the year keepsake for parents as they will see their child’s cutting, gluing, and writing skills at work! Here’s the cover page (I’ve also included a blank one without the alligator so students can draw something else alphabet related. I was going for A is for Alligator here.)
A is for Apple
C is for Cat
Here’s a look at all the crafts included!
As you can see I used a binding comb for this notebook with white card stock paper. If you don’t have a access to a binding machine you can totally use binder rings instead (shown below). Depending on the size of your binding comb you will most likely (like I did) have to print your pages back to back to get them to fit in the comb. This CAN be done from home with a basic printer but it will take time as you will have to manually print a page, flip it in your printer, and then print the next page on it and continue doing so for the entire book. If you have a lot of students you can also get this done at your local print shop (a much quicker option!). This is how the book will look with binding rings:
You’ll notice I changed it up and used color construction paper here and the pages are not printed back to back. With the binding rings you will have more room to fit all the pages so that’s a benefit if you want quick printing. You will also noticed the papers above already have the letters and words printed on them, these pages are also included with your download (another way I’m making this EASY for those young kiddos who can’t write just yet)! I have also included a black writing page for students who can write on their own and don’t need to trace the letters and words. One other fun thing you can do with this notebook, is not make a notebook! Haha. These crafts would look great on a word wall as you can see from my little “demo” above. The largest craft is just under 8″x 8″ so if you have the space this would be very cute! Don’t forget to laminate them so you can use them from year to year! I have also included the labels you see above and they are set up to be printed on different colors so you won’t have the same color next to each other on your wall.
Okay that’s all I have for you guys today. If your interested in this notebook, you can get it here. I just know your students will love it and be excited to work on it each day! Once they finish a craft, they will be begging to know what’s next!
