26 Silly Alphabet Coloring Pages for Preschool and Kindergarten

Kids learn the alphabet through play and engaging activities! I created super fun coloring pages for each alphabet letter to allow kids to color the letter and associate them with an image. When children have a visual for letter sounds, they are more likely to remember the letter and apply it to future learning. Use these fun Alphabet Coloring Pages to practice the letters of the alphabet at home or in the classroom. Keep reading to see how awesome they are to use.

What’s Included in the Alphabet Coloring Pages?

Inside this alphabet coloring page download, you will find differentiated pages for each of the 26 letters of the alphabet. All letters come in uppercase versions with either solid words, tracing, or D’Nealian font tracing.

The coloring pages have a border (there is also a set without, so you can just print and go!) for cutting and placing the page into a notebook if you want to keep all letters together. There are also 8 different cover page options for a notebook. They fit full size and notebook paper.

Let your kids use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to decorate each letter. Another fun idea is to try using water paints! There are so many fun ways to color the crafts.

Special Features of the Alphabet Coloring Pages

The cool thing about these alphabet coloring pages is that each letter is made to look like the object it represents. For example, the B is made to look like a cute little butterfly. The C has ears and a tail, so it looks like a cat! The kids love the silly objects that help them remember the sounds each letter makes.

They might just spark some interest in artistic kids. They may try to create their own letters to look like objects that start with the letter. Use them as inspiration to brainstorm other words that would work for each letter.

Which Ages Will Benefit From These Coloring Pages?

The alphabet coloring pages are perfect for any child still working on learning their letters and letter sounds. Kids 2 and up will be interested in these fun pages. Even if they aren’t quite grasping letter concepts, they will find these coloring pages fun and may even retain some information while coloring.

The printable pages are perfect for preschool children and students entering kindergarten. They make great back-to-school activities for little ones to learn the letters and corresponding sounds. Kids will practice their fine motor skills and handwriting skills while learning to identify letters and words that start with each letter. Use one letter a day or one a week to really dive into each letter and learn all you can about it! Kids will get excited to learn which letter they are learning about next.

Once complete, hang the letters up on the wall for students to refer to throughout the year or place them in personalized notebooks that kids will be proud of.

Alphabet Notebooks for Kids

These coloring pages are also part of my Alphabet Notebooks. The notebooks have a tracing section, writing section, and object identification section for each letter. Students can stamp, rainbow, and sticker their letters all within this interactive notebook.

Use these fun notebooks and coloring pages as sweet keepsakes for your little ones. Parents will love having these adorable crafts on hand for years to come.
