Pumpkin carving is a family tradition with my family. We all get together and carve our pumpkins together and have chili for dinner. My parents already took Laina to a small pumpkin patch to get a few pumpkins for our tradition and when given the choice of a small, medium, or large pumpkin, she wanted a medium one! I found this really funny, because it all my years teaching preschool I’ve never heard a kid say they want a medium pumpkin, it’s always a small or large. That’s Laina for you! Here she is in a pile of gourds. Man is she getting big on me!Looks like she found a pumpkin and is enjoying a wagon ride.I had to get a snap shot of this sign to share! I just love how well it tells how a pumpkin grows.
If your in need of a pumpkin craft, here are a few that I have made in the past.
