On page 4 of the pdf, you will find this picture of the Christmas tree. Print this directly on to a light blue sheet of construction paper or cardstock. Print the Free Christmas Tree Shape Craft Patterns onto Colored Paper
Patterns for the tree craft can be found on pages 6-10 of the pdf. Print these patterns onto the coordinating construction paper or cardstock color that is written on each page.
Each student will need:
- six green circles
- one yellow star
- one brown trunk
- one red large stripe
- one small stripe
Have students cut out all their pieces and then it will be time to glue!
How to Assemble the Christmas Tree Shape Craft
Let’s get started! Have students glue the trunk pattern on top of the construction paper. It will go right on top of the rectangle portion of the tree.
Then have students take their 6 green circles and glue them on top of the circles of tree.
Next have students glue their star on top of the star on the construction paper.
Finally have students glue their large and small stripe on top of the construction paper in line with the ones that are shown on the paper. It’s that easy!
Easy Coloring Christmas Tree
For an even easier option, simply print page 4 on regular white paper or cardstock and have students color it in with crayons, coloring pencils, or markers. This is a great activity for morning work, a station, or for fast finishers when they finish other classroom work early.
