Stay Sharp Valentine’s Day Card

If you’re in need of a last minute Valentine Card for your kiddos, I’ve got one for you.  I made these for my daughter’s class this year.  I found these cute smiley face pencil sharpeners at Party City.  Here’s an online link so you know what your looking for: Smiley Face Pencil Sharpeners. They were very reasonable, you get 12 for $4.00.

To make the cards, I printed them off onto white cardstock and cut them out (they come 6 on a page!).  Then I had my daughter write each student’s name on the black line and then she signed her own name next to the word love at the bottom.  It was great for working on her letter writing skills!  We then put a small piece of double sided tape on the back of each sharpener and stuck them to the top of the valentine.

You can download the pdf for the cards here.

I really love how these turned out, plus what kid doesn’t need a pencil sharpener?  Their pencils are always breaking!
