1. Use the Dinosaur Craft as a Valentine

Valentines don’t have to be frilly and pink. They can be any color and can showcase any animal or object! I won’t lie, the boys LOVE this craft more than the girls, but all the kids seem to enjoy it. The cute dinosaur makes a fun Valentine to give to parents, guardians, teachers, or friends.

Let kids pick their own color of dinosaur and write the name of the person the Valentine is intended for. Whoever receives this sweet gift will be smiling from ear to ear. Print multiple copies for each child so they can hand out as many Valentines as they want!

2. Display the Dino-Mite Dinosaur Craft on the Bulletin Board

If you have a classroom or a group of students, let them each complete the dinosaur craft. Then, display the cute dinosaurs on the bulletin board. They will love seeing their artwork on the wall. Any time a kid sees their hard work on the wall, they get a sense of worth. It tells them they belong where they are and makes them feel accomplished.

If this is meant for a bulletin board, let students write their own names on the heart. Seeing their name on the dinosaur valentine craft will reassure them how amazing they are!

3. Practice Fine Motor Skills During a Celebration

Throwing a Valentine’s Day celebration for the kids? Add this dinosaur Valentine craft to the mix to let students work on their fine motor skills. These skills include cutting, gluing, and even coloring. The templates are available in a 3-page coloring version so students can decorate the dinos any way they want. This is a great way to personalize their Valentine’s and provide some fun color to your bulletin board.

This craft doesn’t only have to be used in February. Use it any month of the year to show students how amazing they are! We don’t only have to remind one another of our love on Valentine’s Day, we can show each other our worth every day!
